Vincent Hely is an Independent Civil funeral celebrant trained and accredited with the Irish Institute of Celebrants. Vincent delivers non-religious, semi-religious and spiritual funeral services.
For Vincent the purpose of the funeral service is a “celebration of life” that honours and best represents the person’s memory. The emphasis is on how the person lived their life, their personality traits and the memories.
When crafting a funeral ceremony, central to this, Vincent values the power of music and song with its ability to comfort and heal. The freedom afforded by a civil funeral is a wonderful opportunity for families to choose relevant, special songs or tunes for the service and Vincent will help families in their choices.
Vincent also offers memorial services and ceremonies to commemorate the anniversary of a loss. It could be an intimate memorial with immediate family, or a larger gathering of the friends and family who were important in your loved one’s life. This could be anything from a candle lighting ceremony, tree planting ceremony or visiting their final resting place. This can be held, in a family home, hotel or outdoor venue.
